1. Well, the Pythagorean relationship works for any right triangle. A right triangle is a triangle that has one ninety degree angle.

The angle is called the hypotenuse. It's always the longest side of the triangle. Its called C

Then, we'll let the other two sides of the triangle equal 'A' and 'B'. They are the legs of the triangle.

Basically, the Pythagorean Relationship states that for any right triangle, the square of the

hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the two legs.
