JB's Graphing Post

Bar Graph
Advantage - Best for comparing data across categories.
Disadvantage - If the numbers are close by, it would be hard to compare.

Double Bar Graph
Advantage - Best for comparing two sets of data across categories.
Disadvantage - It could get confusing with both of them together.

Circle Graph
Advantage - Best for comparing categories to the whole using percents.
Disadvatage - It would take a while to find the percent and how big it would be in the circle.

Line Graph
Advantage - Best for showing changes in data over time.
Disadvantage - It only shows the trend.

Pictograph - Best for comparing data that can be easily counted and represented using symbols.
Disadvantage - You have to make the pictures the same size.

-If theres a break in the y-axis.
-If the pictures in the pictograph are different sizes.
-If the bars are different sizes.

2a) The 2 graphs I would use is a bar graph and a line graph.

2b) I would keep selling it because it gets higher every week, you could see it get higher in the line graph trend.

4) I would choose the line graph because it shows the trend that it goes up.

Sorry Mr.Harbeck, cant do the rest! Im using my moms phone to do this.
